São Tomé ve Príncipe-Türkiye ilişkileri, São Tomé ile Príncipe ve Türkiye arasındaki dış ilişkilerdir. Gabon'un başkenti Libreville'daki Türk büyükelçisi aynı zamanda São Tomé ve Príncipe'a da akreditedir. São Tomé ve Príncipe'ın Portekiz'in Lizbon kentindeki büyükelçiliği de Türkiye'ye akreditedir.[1]

Diplomatik ilişkiler[değiştir | kaynağı değiştir]

Türkiye'nin São Tomé ve Príncipe ile 300 yılı aşkın bir süredir ilişkisi vardır.[2] İlişkiler Sefarad Yahudileri'nin 15. yüzyıl sonlarında Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'na gelmesiyle başladı. Daha sonra gelen Sefarad Yahudileri dahil anusimler Yahudilerin kıyıda varlıklarını kurmalarına yardımcı oldu[3] 1672'de São Tomé ve Príncipe'de Portekiz Engizisyonu'nun kurulmasıyla birlikte, Sefarad Yahudileri ve anusimlerin tekrar Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'na göç dalgası yaşandı.

Türkiye, Sao Tome ve Principe'ye geliştirme yardımı yapılmasını sağlayan Lomé Sözleşmesi ve sonrasında Cotonou Anlaşması ile ilişkiler daha da güçlendi.[2]
