Tomas Gösta Tranströmer (İsveççe:tʊ ː mas jœsta trɑ ː nstrœmər; Nisan 1931 15 doğumlu) bir İsveçli şair, psikolog ve çevirmen.Stockholm Üniversitesi'nde şiir ve psikoloji okudu[1][2] Şiirleri 60 fazla dilde tercüme edilmiştir.[3]

Tranströmer 1931 yılında Stokholmda doğdu , babası ve annesi boşandıktan sonra , annesi bir öğretmen olarak tarafından büyütüldü .[4]
