Leptusa, Homalotini oymağına bağlı bir hayvan cinsidir.[1][2][3][4] Bu cinsin türleri en yoğun olarak Türkiye'nin kuzeydoğusunda görülür. Cinsin 9 türü Rize'de, 7 türü Trabzon'da, 5 türü Ordu'da, 4 türü Artvin'de, 4 türü Gümüşhane'de, 4 türü Giresun'da, 3 türü Samsun'da, 3 türü Kocaeli'de ve 3 türü Sakarya'da görülmüştür.[5]
