York Başpiskoposu
York Başpiskoposu, Canterbury Başpiskoposu'ndan sonra İngiltere Kilisesi'ndeki en kıdemli piskopostur. Başpiskopos, York Piskoposluğu'nun diosezan piskoposu ve İngiltere'nin kuzey bölgelerini (Trent'in kuzeyi) ve Man Adası'nı kapsayan York eyaletinin metropolitidir.
Başpiskoposun tahtı (cathedra) York'un merkezindeki York Minster'dadır ve resmi konutu, York'un dışındaki Bishopthorpe köyündeki Bishopthorpe Sarayı'dır. Mevcut başpiskopos, 9 Temmuz 2020'de seçildiğinin onaylanmasından bu yana Stephen Cottrell'dir.[1]
