Mattheus Wijtmans
Mattheus Wijtmans 's-Hertogenbosch'ta doğan Brabantlı bir ressamdı.[1] Gorinchem'de 10 yıl (1640-1650) yaşadı ve 1689'da Utrecht'te? mi öldü.[1] Hollanda Altın Çağı ressamıydı.
Wytmans, ressam Hendrik Verschuring'ün ve daha sonra Utrecht'te Jan van Bijlert'in öğrencisiydi. Houbraken'e göre Caspar Netscher tarzında resim yaptı, ancak çiçek ve meyve boyamada en iyisiydi.[2]
