Masha Gessen (doğum Maria Aleksandrovna Gessen, (Rusça: Мария Александровна Гессен) 13 Ocak 1967) Rus-Amerikan gazeteci, yazar ve çevirmen.

10'dan fazla kitabın yazarı olan Gessen aynı zamanda 2017 yılından itibaren New York Times, Books New York Review, Washington Post, Los Angeles Times, New Republic, New Statesman, Granta, Slate, Vanity Fair, Harper's Magazine, The New Yorker ve US News & World Report dergi ve gazeteleri için de yazılar yazmaktadır. Aynı zamanda Gessen, FX TV kanalının tarihi drama dizisi The Americans için çevirmen olarak çalıştı.

Moskova'da yahudi bir ailenin 2'nci çocuğu olarak doğan Gessen, 1981 yılında ailesi ile birlikte Amerika Birleşik Devletleri'ne taşınmıştır. Gessen, hem Rus hem de ABD vatandaşlığına sahiptir.
