Viggo Peter Mortensen Jr. (d. 20 Ekim 1958), Altın Küre'ye ve Oscar'a aday gösterilmiş Danimarka asıllı ABD'li film ve tiyatro sanatçısı, şair, müzisyen, fotoğrafçı ve ressam.

Peter Jackson'ın Yüzüklerin Efendisi üçlemesinde Aragorn rolüyle tanınır. 2007 yılında David Cronenberg'in Şark Vaatleri filminde rolüyle Altın Küre'ye, BAFTA'ya ve Oscar'a aday gösterilmiştir.

1987 - 1998 yılları arasında Exene Cervenka ile evli kalmıştır. Çiftin Henry isminde bir oğlu vardır.
