Location map

Hello Obsersachse,

I have not been able to actively use the German language for quite some time (four years, to be exact), therefore it's quite rusty and I'd like to respond in English if I may. I simply hate it when I find myself looking for words in dictionary. Gotta work on it if I can spare some time. I can understand you perfectly though, feel free to respond in German.

My contribution to the template in question was nothing more than the correction of coordination codes. But I recently worked on and launched a COTW (collaboration of the week, I am the coordinator) about the infobox templates. And now that I remember it, a fellow Wikipedian asked me about this location map system, I told him that I was gonna look into it. Considering that it was four months ago, I should probably avoid eye contact and go offline when I see him on RC :)

I have a long list of wiki-related things to be done - a bucket list if you will - and it's definitely on it. But it's getting harder and harder for me to go on with my old heavy workload routine. So if you are willing to port those items, then fantastic, I am sure I could find some people to help you with the localization. You are obviously aware of the technical aspect of the system, so I'm sure it'll be a piece of cake for you.

Great, that is what I wanted. So then I will create the location maps with their english names. The localisators will only have to rename them. If there will be any progress with using the location map system, please let me know. May be I can give some advices. --Obersachse 08:20, 20 Şubat 2010 (UTC)
