IX. Ramses
Neferkare Setepenre IX. Ramses (ayrıca Ramesses olarak da bilinir) (gerçekte adı Amon-her-khepshef Khaemwaset) (MÖ 1129-1111'de hüküm sürdü)[1] Mısır'ın Yirminci Hanedanlığının sekizinci firavunuydu. III. Ramses ve XI. Ramses'ten sonra bu Hanedanlığın en uzun süre hizmet veren üçüncü kralıydı. Jürgen von Beckerath'ın 1984 tarihli bir GM makalesinde sunduğu kanıtlara dayanarak, Akhet'in 21. gününde tahta geçtiğine inanılıyor.[2][3] Papirüs Turin 1932+1939'a göre, IX. Ramses 18 yıl 4 aylık bir saltanat yaşadı ve 19. Yılı'nda Peret'in ilk ayında 17 ile 27 arasında öldü.[4] Taht adı Neferkare Setepenre, "Güzel, Re'nin Ruhu, Re'nin Seçilmişi" anlamına gelir.[5] IX. Ramses'in III. Ramses'in oğlu Mentuherkhepeshef'in oğlu olduğuna inanılıyor.[6] IX. Ramses, bu nedenle, muhtemelen III. Ramses'in torunuydu.[7]
