"Angels We Have Heard on High", James Chadwick'in İngilizce sözlere sahip, adının kaynağı belirsiz Les Anges dans nos campagnes adı verilen geleneksel bir Fransız şarkısından türetilmiş bir Noel ilâhisi. Chadwick'in sözleri Fransız orijinalinden türetilmiş, ilham almış ve kısmî bir çeviri. Şarkının konusu Luka İncili'nde anlatıldığı gibi İsa Mesih'in doğuşu, özellikle Beytüllahim dışındaki çobanların yeni doğan çocuğu şarkı söyleyen ve öven çok sayıda melekle karşılaştığı sahneyi betimlemektedir.
