Aleksander Gieysztor

Aleksander Gieysztor (17 Temmuz 1916, Moskova, Rus İmparatorluğu – 9 Şubat 1999, Varşova, Polonya), Polonyalı Orta Çağ tarihçisi.

Hayatı[değiştir | kaynağı değiştir]

Aleksander Gieysztor Moskova'da Polonyalı bir ailenin çocuğu olarak dünyaya geldi. Beş yaşına kadar Varşova'da yaşadı. 1937'de Varşova Üniversitesi tarih bölümünden mezun oldu. Meslektaşı Irena Gieysztorowa ile evliydi.
