William Hope Hodgson (15 Kasım 1877, Essex - 19 Nisan 1918, Ypres), İngiliz yazar.^[1] Fantastik, Korku ve Bilim kurgu türünde yazdığı kısa hikayeler, romanlar ve şiirlerle tanınır.^[2] I. Dünya Savaşı'na katılmıştır ve savaş sırasında ölmüştür.^[3]

Ölümü

19 Nisan 1918 tarihinde Ypres Muharebesi sırasında uğradığı topçu bombardımanı sonucu 40 yaşında ölmüştür.
