Nathan Irving (Nat) Hentoff (10 Hairan 1925 – 7 Ocak 2017), Amerikalı romancı, tarihçi, müzik eleştirmeni ve köşe yazarıdır.

10 Haziran 1925'ye doğan Nat Hentoff, 1958 ile 2009 jazz müziği tarihini anlatan The Village Voice adlı kitabıyla bilinir.

Hentoff çeşitli basın yayın organları Down Beat, JazzTimes, Legal Times, The Washington Post, The Washington Times, The Progressive, Editor & Publisher ve Free Inquiry gibi yerlerde müzik ve tarih konusunda yazılar kalem almıştır.

Nat Hentoff, 7 Ocak 2017'de 91 yaşında öldü.
