Mentors (müzik grubu)

The Mentors, kasıtlı shock rock şarkı sözleriyle tanınan Amerikalı bir heavy metal grubudur. İlk olarak Mayıs 1976'da Seattle, Washington'da kuruldular, 1979'da Los Angeles, Kaliforniya'ya taşındılar.

Grup, hem tanınmış hard rock gruplarından hem de Parents Music Resource Center gibi sansür yanlısı hareketlerden ilgi topladı, ancak davulcu ve solist Eldon Hoke'un ("El Duce") 1997'deki ölümü onlara benzeri görülmemiş bir ilgi çekti. Grup bugün farklı bir kadroyla aktif olmaya devam ediyor: Solo gitarda Sickie Wifebeater (Eric Carlson), bas gitarda Dr Heathen Scum (Steve Broy), vokal ve davulda Mad Dog.
