Protecting the Environment[değiştir | kaynağı değiştir]

Environment means the surroundings. Land, water, air, plants, animals all form our environment. Human beings and the environment are closely linked together. Every time people harm nature, they cause environmental problems. These problems involve damaging changes in the environment. Many of which will be reversible and will affect the health of all human beings. Luckily, it is in our hand to protect nature and look after the environment.

Air Pollution by a Factory

The release of poisonous gas from petroleum, automobiles, burning coal and wood, chemical fertilizers, etc. causes air pollution. It has many bad effects on living creatures and the environment. We should cut more trees and increase the release of harmful gases from the industries to prevent air pollution. We should also stop releasing harmful chemicals or microorganisms into water bodies. These toxic wastes cause water pollution and they are dangerous for sea creatures and humans. We must learn to prevent and stop water pollution, because all humans, plants and animals need water for their survival.

Recycling Bins

Waste and garbage are extremely threatening problems to our planet. Humans produce millions of waste every day. We should remember that just because we throw something away, doesn’t mean it disappears. It prevents the destruction of many habitats and wildlife homes. By recycling, reusing and reducing, we can prevent these negative effects and help to save the environment from pollution. We can encourage people to buy reusable materials.

All creatures that live on this earth comes under the environment. We should know that “a polluted environment” is very important both for ourselves and for future generations. We should follow the rules and be more responsible to prevent pollution from continuing to do so much harm to our environment.
