The factual accuracy of this map or the file name is disputed.
Reason: The Hunnic Empire under Attila was a much smaller affair. They never bothered to conquer Denmark, Poland or Baltic states. Their southern borders are understated in this map. Then, everything north and northeast of the Black Sea may have been under Hunnic control, or the control of other central Asian steppe peoples, but certainly not "directly controlled" by the "Hunnic Empire" under Attila. Finally, the categorization of the Huns as a Turkic people is itself disputed; there are no clear conclusions among experts.
