I found this one basking early in the morning. It let me get quite close to take the picture. Probably because it was still waking up and kind of sluggish!
If it is a S. chrysostictus, then it's probably dark in color to get heat quicker, and it gets lighter in color as it gets warmer. Also, notice how its body is flattened in order to absorb even more heat.
