English: Radio Prishtina started working immediately after the Second World War, first in Prizren, then moved to Prishtina making its first broadcast in 1945. Then in 1974 Prishtina Television started its first broadcast. As an institution, RTP has an indisputable value in disseminating news in Albanian language, at a time when this was not an easy task.
The Radio Prishtina building was conceived by Oton Gaspari, a Slovenian architect in 1965, specifically for this function. The building visibly consists of two volumes, one spreading horizontally and the other rising vertically. Both volumes have their independent expression in particular but also remain in complementary harmony in general. The administrative spaces are located in the vertical volume, with triangle floor plan. Due to this function that requires good lighting, the vertical volume P + 10 floors, shows many openings in the facade, with windows in row throughout the whole perimeter of the facade. The remaining part of the building is solid material made of concrete. The volume in the horizontal part of the building, at the entrance, increase in the form of a pile. In this zone, the radio halls and the technical part of the realization of the news are located therefore this part of the building has more solid expressions due to the lack of necessity for lighting. Characteristic of the architectural expression is the facade made out of natural concrete with ribbed texture. The interruption of programs from this radio-television was terminated with violence by the Serbian government in 1990. Today the building is used by Radio Prishtina and partially by KTV (Koha Vision). In 2019, RTP did not escape inadequate interventions with inappropriate materials, compromising the authentic image and architectural features of the building.Shqip: Radio Prishtina filloi punën menjëherë pas Luftës së Dytë Botërore, fillimisht në Prizren, pastaj u zhvendos në Prishtinë duke bërë transmetimin e parë në vitin 1945. Më pas në vitin 1974 filloi transmetimin e parë edhe Televizioni i Prishtinës. Si institutcion, RTP ka vlerë të pakontestueshme në shpërndarjen e lajmit në gjuhën shqipe, në një kohë kur kjo punë nuk ishtë shumë e lehtë.
Ndërtesa e Radio Prishtinës është ideuar nga Oton Gaspari, arkitekt sloven në vitin 1965, specifikisht për këtë funksion. Nërtesa dukshmërisht përbëhet nga dy volume, njëra e shtrirë horizontalisht dhe tjera e ngritur vertikalisht. Që të dy volumet kanë tërësinë dhe shprehjen e tyre në veçanti por edhe qëndrojnë në harmoni komplementare në përgjithësi. Në volumin vertikal, me bazë të trekëndëshit, janë dizejnuar hapësirat administrative. Për shkak të këtij funksioni që kërkon ndriqim të mirë, volumi i ngritur P+10 kate, ka shumë hapje në fasadë, me dritare në rend në të gjithë perimetrin e fasadës. Pjesa tjetër me material të plotë është e punuar nga betoni. Pjesa horizontale e ndërtesës, tek pjesa e hyrjes, merr një ngritje të volumit në formë të një pirgu. Në këtë pjesë, janë të vendosura sallat e radios dhe pjesa teknike e realizimit të lajmit ka shprehje më solide për shkak të mos nevojës për ndriqim. Karakteristike e shprehjes arkitektonike është fasada prej betoni natyral me teksturë të brinjëzuar. Ndërprerja e programeve nga ky televizion u realizua me masa të dhunshme të ndërmarra nga qeveria serbe në vitin 1990. Sot ndërtesa shfrytëzohet nga Radio Prishtina dhe një pjesë nga KTV (Koha Vision). Në vitin 2019, RTP nuk i shpëtoi intervenimeve jo adekuate, me materiale jo të përshtatshme dhe duke cënuar imazhin autentik dhe karakteristikat arkitekturore të ndërtesës. |
