«Прямоугольное двухстороннее полотнище с отношением ширины к длине 2:3, воспроизводящее фигуры герба муниципального образования Боголюбовское, выполненные синим, зелёным, белым и жёлтым цветом».

Описание герба: «В лазоревом поле на зелёной земле — серебряный двухъярусный с трёхчленным фасадом одноглавый храм, с закрытыми дверьми и с лазоревыми окнами (двумя на первом ярусе, по сторонам от дверей, и тремя на втором ярусе и на барабане купола), увенчанный золотым восьмиконечным крестом».
