James Todd Smith (14 Ocak 1968) ya da bilinen adıyla LL Cool J (Ladies Love Cool James'in kısaltması[1]) Amerikalı rapçi, girişimci ve aktör. Sanatçı "I Need Love", "Around the Way Girl"ve "Hey Lover" gibi romantik balladlarıyla; "I Can't Live Without My Radio", "I'm Bad", "The Boomin' System" ve "Mama Said Knock You Out" gibi öncü hip hop parçalarıyla tanınmaktadır. On üç stüdyo ve iki toplama albümü bulunmaktadır. Ayrıca pek çok filmde yer almıştır.
