Titanic was an olympic-class transatlantic cruise ship owned by the white star line company .produced by shipyards of harland and wollf.it hit an iceberg the first time on the night of april 15,1912.and in about two hours and forty minutes it was submerged in the icy waters of North atlantic. When it was completed in 1912, it was the world's largest steam cruise ship. Its sinking resulted in the death of 1,514 people and went down in history as one of the biggest sea disasters. The massive loss of life caused by the Titanic's sinking was attributed to many reasons, but the fact that came to the fore over time was that the ship did not carry enough lifeboats for everyone. Although the Titanic's full capacity was 3,547 people, the total capacity of the lifeboats on board was 1,178 people. In addition, the total number of men who died was very disproportionate, as women and children were prioritized during the accident. The most advanced technologies available at the time were used in the Titanic. It was believed by many to be a "unsinkable ship". and this belief was introduced that way before it sinked. Despite this advanced technology and trained crew, many people were shocked by its sinking. The media kept bringing up legends about the famous victims and sinking of the Titanic. The result of these discussions was the change in the maritime law. The discovery of the ship's wreck in 1985 by Robert Ballard, retired from the American navy, increased interest in the Titanic, and this interest continues to this day.
