Katolik Dua Kitabı

Katolik dua kitabı (Latince : breviarium) Hristiyanlıkta kanonik saatlerde dua etmek için kullanılan bir litürjik kitaptır. Genellikle yedi sabit namaz vaktinde okunur.^[1]^[2]

Kronolojik olarak Hristiyan âleminde Aberdeen'in Dua Kitabı, Bellevile'in Dua Kitabı, Stowe'un Dua Kitabı ve Isabella'nın Dua Kitabı gibi birçok Katolik dua kitapları kullanıldı. Yine de Roma Katolik Dua Kitabı, Roma Kilisesi'yle özdeşleşti ve genel olarak bu kitap okundu. Daha sonra da Saatlerin Litürjileri kitabı ile yer değiştirdi. Lütercilik gibi diğer Hristiyan mezheplerinde, Kardeşlik Dua Kitabı (The Brotherhood Prayer Book) gibi farklı dua kitapları okunmaya başlanmaktadır.^[3]^[4]
