Trivium 1999 yılında Florida, ABD'de kurulan bir metalcore ve thrash metal grubudur.Kelime, Latince'de "üç yol ağzı" anlamına gelir.

Trivium 2007 yılında bir konserde

RoadRunner Records'dan "Ember to Inferno", "Ascendancy", "The Crusade", "Shogun" ve "In Waves" adlarıyla beş albümleri çıkmıştır.

Grubun üyeleri

• Matthew Kiichi Heafy (vokal ve ritm gitar)
• Corey Beaulieu (solo gitar)
• Paolo Gregoletto (bas gitar)
• Nick Augusto (bateri)

Matthew Heafy ve Corey Beaulieu ayrıca RoadRunner Records'un şirket bünyesindeki farklı elemanları rastgele biçimlerde eşleştirerek oluşturduğu yeni grupların birer şarkılarından oluşan proje RoadRunner United'da yer almıştır ayrıca megadeth hayranıdır.

Grup yeni albümü "In Waves" in piyasaya cıkmasından hemen sonra turneye çıkmıştır.

Grup 19 Haziran 2012'de İstanbul'da Hi-Voltage etkinliğinde sahne almıştır.
