Lars Ulrich, (d. 26 Aralık 1963). Metallica'nın James Hetfield'la birlikte kurucusu ve bateristidir. Gentofte, Danimarka doğumludur. Küçük yaşlarında tenis oynamaya başlamıştır. 17 yaşında Los Angeles, ABD'ye taşınmışlardır. Los Angeles gazetesi The Recyclera ilan vererek James Hetfield'la tanışmıştır ve Metallica'yı kurmuşlardır.

21 Mayıs 2007'de Connie Nielsen'dan Bryce Thadeus Ulrich-Nielsen adında bir oğlu olmuştur.
