Joel Kovel

Joel Kovel (Brooklyn, New York, 1936) ABD'li yazar, psikiyatrist.
1961'de Columbia Üniversitesi'ni bitirdi. Albert Einstein Tıp Fakültesinde psikiyatri ihtisasını tamamladı. Downstade Tıp Merkezi Enstitüsü'nde psikanaliz diploması aldı. Bronx Kent hastanesinde psikiyatri profesörlüğü yaptı. Bard College'de toplumsal çalışmalar profesörlüğü, The New School for Social Research'da antropoloji profesörlüğü yapmıştır.
