IAMX Chris Corner'ın solo müzik projesidir. Şarkı sözlerinde genel olarak cinsellik, ölüm, heyecan, uyuşturucunun verdiği sarhoşluk, çöküş, din, ruh hastalığı ve politikaya göndermeler vardır. Chris Corner, müzik endüstrisi hakkında daha az endişelenip bağımsız bir yol belirleyebileceğini ifade ettiği Berlin'de yaşamıştır.
2014 ve 2016 yılları aralığında Corner ve ekibi, daha profesyonel müzik yapabilmeleri ve daha iyi bir iklime ihtiyaç duyabilme gerekçeleriyle Berlin'deki eski bağlarından kopararak Los Angeles'a taşınmıştır.
